This project is presented in collaboration with a renowned Charities Trust in Hong Kong through its flagship youth programme, launched in 2015. The programme aims to drive a paradigm shift in career and life development practices across education, community youth services, and the workplace—supporting young people in navigating a smoother school-to-work transition.
To raise industry standards, the programme has developed the Hong Kong Benchmarks for Career and Life Development. These benchmarks empower youth from diverse backgrounds to build the competence, agency, and aspiration needed to explore multiple career and life pathways that reflect their own values, skills, and goals.
This is not a typical workcamp as overseas delegates will mainly join as part of the inspiring “Thriving Children & Youth Conference 2025”, that brings together passionate young people and changemakers for meaningful dialogue and innovative youth service ideas.
Delegates will work alongside Hong Kong youth to co-develop project ideas and support them in refining their pitching presentations. Prior to arrival, participants will join online exchange sessions in mid-July to offer feedback and share global perspectives.
During the camp, delegates will participate in cultural exchanges, community visits, and dialogue sessions. They will serve as peer supporters during the Catalytic Pitching Day, join visits to local NGOs and social projects, and take part in the kick-off of a youth leadership programme aimed at fostering long-term social impact through cross-cultural collaboration.
In addition to the camp’s rich learning and cultural exchange activities, participants are welcome to explore the vibrant city of Hong Kong during their free time. From world-class shopping and iconic skylines to local street food and cultural landmarks, Hong Kong offers a dynamic blend of modern city life and unique local charm for all to enjoy.
