FSL-India, (Field Services and Inter-cultural Learning - India) is a youth development organization focused towards Inter-cultural Learning through Voluntary Services set up to promote Global Understanding by providing opportunities to the youth to work in different cultural contexts to appreciate Inter-cultural learning. Thereby, reducing boundaries and bringing people to work together in harmony by understanding the Inter-cultural aspects focusing towards development of people and society through youth mobility and volunteerism. Founded in the year 2000 and legally incorporated in 2001, FSL-India is a Trust under Indian Trust Act 1882. It was formed with the support of like-minded National and International Organizations with a primary purpose to bring about global transformation, progress and growth through youth exchange programs. FSL-India is headquartered in Bangalore, with regional offices in Karnataka (Bangalore, Mysore, Mangalore and Kundapur) and Pondicherry and is well equipped with experienced associates who support developmental activities across the country with the help of Local and Regional Partners. Annually, FSL- Indi a mobilizes movement of 500 and more youths from across the globe with the support of International Partners and local NGOs
Description of work:
The camp will focus on the volunteers to understand the social and cultural aspects of the community they work. The volunteers will be given experience through interactions, workshops exchange of ideas, need analysis with the support of the team leader, planning and being a part of completing the scheduled work with the group of volunteers to the benefit of the community
and a learning experience for the volunteers.
The camp will consist of community service, Learning, Culture and evaluation.

Tibet has maintained a unique culture, religion and language for centuries. After the Chinese nvasion in 1950, the Dalai Lama, Tibet’s political and religious leader sought and was given asylum in India, along with thousands of Tibetan refugees. Today, there is a thriving settlement in Dharamshala, which is called Tibet-in-exile. To learn about Tibetan culture and religion, there are many places of interest at Dharamshala. Tsuglagkhang, Mcleodganj the residence of the Dalai Lama
is a must-visit, as are the Tibet Museum, Dalai Lama temple, Tibetan Parliament House, Library of Tibetan Works and Archives, War Memorial and Kangra Art Museum. The Tibetan Children’s Village, a charitable organisation, caters to children who are in the greatest need among the refugees. For the last 5 decades, it has run solely on the generosity of its well-wishers. At Gyuto and Namgyal Monasteries, you can interact with the Tibetan monks and get valuable insights into the peace-loving Buddhist philosophy. If you are in the right place at the right time, you could even be fortunate enough to meet His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama himself. Palampur, the Tea Capital of North India is famous for its beautiful tea gardens, which are a natural scenic sight. Tea lovers can pick up some handcrafted, fresh mountain teas here. Some of the teas available are Black Teas, White Teas, Oolong Teas, Green Teas and Tisanes.

Information About Trekking – Optional Trekking in the Himalayan mountains is a not-to-be-missed experience. If you wish, we will arrange a 2 or 4-day trekking activity around the mountains of Dharamshala and Triund. This will be in the 3rd week of the camp. The trekking cost will be as 2 Days and one night for minimum 5 people - 3000 rupees per pax 2 Days and one night for less then 4 people - 4000 rupees per pax 3 Days and 2nights for 5 pax - 4500 rupees per pax 3 Days and 2nights for less then 4 pax - 5000 rupees per pax 4 Days 3 nights for 5 pax - 6000 rupees per pax 4 Days 3 nights for less then 4pax - 7000 rupees per pax
Description of work:
Depending on the weather, volunteers would do vegetable farming, remove weeds, make organic compost and put it to farms, renovate the trails to farm, prepare dung sprays and pesticides to grow healthy crops. Be prepared to get your hands dirty and do physical work. Experienced or skilled volunteers can help communities to take to off season vegetables and go to dry land farming. Innovative ideas to promote natural farming are always welcome.Besides natural farming, volunteers will be given an exposure of other humanitarian projects, meeting with women groupsand physical activity in RUCHI campus and work in communities or slums..

A visit to Shimla, the state capital, will offer an opportunity to see high Himalayan Mountains and British architecture.

With this project we aim to reverse the process of inorganic farming and bring more and more farmers do natural farming, the way they had all along been doing traditionally. We are already making a small effort in our campus for demonstration purpose and would like to further promote and educate local communities on natural farming practices on increasing basis. The project relates to SDG-02 (Zero Hunger)
Description of work:
Volunteers would compile information to convey message on peace, harmony and a safe environment having space for everyone regardless of their caste, creed and religion. They will visit 3-4 communities and interact with the people to better understand local values, culture, behaviour and prepare materials for future volunteers. The volunteers will also spend time on plantation, nurturing already planted trees, cleaning etc, do wall or pot planting with peace message promoting global peace and an environment for a better living.
Since peace and environmental education and protection is the focus of the camp they will be expected to create awareness on issues like global warming, climate change, Carbon emission, sustainable lifestyle etc. while visiting local communities.
The volunteers will also get an opportunity to get an exposure of other humanitarian projects, meeting with women groups, physical activity in RUCHI campus and work in communities or slums.

With this project we aim to do our bit to reverse climate change and preserve biodiversity of our surrounding through education and actions. Overtime we have assisted in planting more than 10,000 trees in last 5 years. Along with plantation we also educate local community about carbon emission and environmentally sustainable actions which we could apply. Description of work:
This National Park is in the western part of the Himalayan Mountains in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh is characterized by high alpine peaks, alpine meadows and riverine forests. The 90,540 ha property includes the upper mountain glacial and snow meltwater sources of several rivers, and the catchments of water supplies that are vital to millions of down stream users. The GHNPCA protects the monsoon-affected forests and alpine meadows of the Himalayan front ranges. GHNP was awarded UNESCO World Heritage Site status in 2014, in recognition of its outstanding significance for biodiversity conservation. The park protects over 1,000 plant species, including many medicinal herbs, 31 mammal species and 209 bird species, as well as amphibians, reptiles and insects.
The Camp:
The camp will focus on the volunteers to understand the social and cultural aspects of the community they work. The volunteers will be given experience through interactions, workshops exchange of ideas, need analysis with the support of team leader, planning and be a part of completing the scheduled work with the group of volunteers for the benefit of the community and a

There will mainly focus on conserving the group of monuments of cultural heritage site at Hampi.
For the last 10 years, FSL India has been working with UNESCO World Heritage Centre, Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), the management of local schools, local NGOs, INTACH and the local tour guide association. Concentrate on the protection of its cultural heritage, sites of historical importance and on creating awareness among the locals, school children, tour-guides and tourists, to infuse a sense of responsibility towards the protection of these priceless monuments. Here, you will help to convert dry areas into beautiful, restful spots by planting trees and flowering plants. Street plays to create awareness, creativity, physical work and archaeological delights are all hallmarks of this unique work camp

Some of the fun things to do at Hampi are taking a coracle ride in the nearby Tungabhadra river.
These round cane boats have been a mode of transport here from the 15th century. You can also
hire a bicycle and take the ride down to any of the interesting ruins, go bouldering or trekking.
Some must-visits are Vijaya Vittala, the extraordinary architectural marvel with 56 musical pillars,
which create melodic sounds when tapped delicately, the stunning Virupaksha and Krishna temples,

Anegundi, or Kishkindha, the capital of the Vijayanagar empire is a fine repository of neolithic history

Tibet has maintained a unique culture, religion and language for centuries. After the Chinese invasion in 1950, the Dalai Lama, Tibet’s political and religious leader sought and was given asylum in India, along with thousands of Tibetan refugees. To learn about Tibetan culture and religion, there are many places of interest at Dharamshala. 본 워크캠프는 합격 후 범죄 및 수사 경력을 증명하기 위해 범죄-수사경력회보서(Criminal Records Check Reply 또는 Certificate of Good Conduct)를 제출하셔야 합니다.
- 온라인 또는 경찰서에서 영문으로 발급
- 워크캠프 합격 후 2주 내에 국제워크캠프기구 및 현지 기관담당자에게 이메일 제출
- 회보서 원본을 워크캠프 현장에서 제출
