Project : Help in the conservation of the local heritage and meet the population by participating in the development of the garden and the organization of the festival!
Adissan is a typical and charming village of the south of France, surrounded by a beautiful nature. In the middle of vineyards, the place is famous thanks to a specific white wine called « Clairette ».The town has thrive for centuries through this business activity and it still attracts a lot of visitor nowadays.
In Adissan, keep your eyes open and you may encounter the ‘foal’, a big and legendary animal, half-camel, half-horse, that mysteriously appears and disappears for centuries!

Work : You will take part in various development works on a garden at the entrance of the village and will continue masonry work on a stone wall near the village that was started during a previous workcamp. You will take part in the organisation of the local festival of Clairette, on July 14th.

ADISSAN

Meeting point : In Pezenas, that you can reach from Beziers or Montpellier (line 103/104 Herault Transport).

Closest airport : Montpellier, Marseille or Paris.

You will be accommodated in the former retirement’s house. The group will be sharing the cleaning chores and preparing meals together. The budget will be allocated to the group leader and you will participate in the preparation of dishes with good products from the market and local producers

본 워크캠프에 참가하기 위해서는 본인의 건강을 입증할 수 있는 건강확인서가 필요합니다. 건강확인서는 근처 보건소 및 병원에서 간단한 검진을 통해 발급받을 수 있으며, 참가 합격 후 추가 안내가 이루어질 예정입니다.

Foreigners belonging to the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. If health issues happen on the project, volunteers will have to pay for it, and then be reimbursed once back in their home country.

For the work, please bring gardening gloves, working clothes and closed shoes.
As the night can be quite cold, remember also to bring warm clothes and a sleeping bag.
Don’t forget your protections against the sun (hat, glasses, sunscreen) and your swim suit!

Some shared times could be organized if you want, so please feel free to bring some cultural material in your bag (food, recipes, stories or dances)!

Leisure : Located in the department of Herault, in the new region Occitanie and his strong cultural heritage, the city of Adissan is the perfect location to enjoy the lake of Salagou (25km) and the beaches of the Mediterranean coast (30km); to organize hikes or discover the cities of Beziers (35km) and Montpellier (50km); to enjoy the beautiful biodiversity around the Basin of Thau (30km) and Sete the famous city of Georges Brassens; nearby you can also discover the great architectural heritage of Pezenas (10km).
