Description of the partner organizing/hosting the project:
The Interdepartmental Agreement of the Causses and Cevennes UNESCO has called for Concordia to carry out an international project on the development of an exceptional departmental site, Les Boissets. Volunteers will work on the maintenance of the site (wood stain, painting, etc) and on small landscaping works to highlight it and program cultural exhibitions and summer events for residents and visitors later on. Nestled in the heart of the Gorges of Tarn and Causses the departmental area of Boissets is a set of old fortified farm buildings. This place steeped in history already existed in the eighteenth century and show that the inhabitants lived in total autonomy. It is in this preservation project of the site that you will intervene.

Description of work:
The main technical objective is the enhancement of the site by carrying out various maintenance and landscaping work. Volunteers will also be able to participate in the installation of a cultural exhibition promoted by the association Arté Lozéra, which will also be present on site.

This special location is perfect for open air activities: hiking, canoeing, VTT, climbing, three climbing and potholing. You will be accommodated under tents, with an access to toilets and showers. The group will be sharing the cleaning chores and preparing meals together. The budget will be allocated to the group leader ad you will participate in the preparation of dishes using good products from the market and local producers.
