Description of the workcamp activities:
Under the guidance of an archaeologist and a stone mason, you will work on a wall of a 17th century castle. The project will consist mainly of traditional masonry. Archaeological surveys will be conducted in parallel to understand the anchoring of a wall in the castle. Also on the program: vegetation clearing, repackaging and restoration of plaster. Do not miss accommodation in yurts either!

Description of the local REMPART association:
First regional group of REMPART movement to emerge following the will of decentralization of the National Union in the 80s, the Group REMPART Ile-de-France dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of the heritage in the region Ile-de- France. It now counts 20 local associations. The Association is accredited Youth and Popular Education. Groupement REMPART Ile-de-France intends to help the emergence of new structures to safeguard and enhance heritage and convey its expertise to new member associations. The group REMPART Ile-de-France is also working to advertise the activities of its members at regional level through the establishment and activation of a network of external partners.
