We work with the Mühl-Fun-Viertel, an organisation that has created a space for fun and joy in harmony with Nature!

“Einwintern” means to prepare something for the winter, that is why we will mostly work with in the premises of the Mühl-Fun-Viertel, by supporting them with activities such as cutting bushes, mowing the lawn, forest work (splitting and sizing wood, etc.) as well as supplying our small petting zoo and other "simple" craftsmen's work. The work will start on Friday 23rd of October. We will work around 7-8 hours with a lunch break of an hour.

The International Camp will take place on the facilities of the “Mühl-Fun-Viertel” in Upper Austria from 23rd to the 27th of October 2020 (http://www.muehlfunviertel.at/ueber-uns/)

We will be hosted at the accommodations of the “Mühl-Fun Viertel”

Food: We will cook for ourselves, mostly vegetarian. (Please inform us whether you require a special diet). Your accommodation and food are covered – however, we recommend you to bring some pocket money: the currency used in Austria is Euros. Furthermore, we invite you to bring typical food, spices, drinks, games and music from your country (for an intercultural evening) – and a lot of motivation!

Insurance: During the international camp we will only have insurance for accidents. Nevertheless, you need a full insurance (medical) for your travel and the time in Austria; don’t forget to arrange your insurance prior to your departure!

Things to bring: You need to bring with you a sleeping bag), working clothes, working shoes, raincoat, swimming suit, sun protection. If you require any medications

We will work for the Partycipation Festival (www.partycipation.at): a) working in the preparation of the festival, b) during the festival itself and, c) after the festival is over; we will work in the cleaning and dismantling. The festival itself lasts one week, from the 21.-28.07.2019. The motto of Partycipation is to have a festival full of music, creativity and a future with a good quality of life. There will be workshops about sustainable and eco-topics, open spaces and music bands will play on the weekend. It’s a small festival. In total there are expected to come around 400-500 people during the whole week.

The international camp will take place in Gänserndorf-Süd (Lower Austria), nearby Vienna from 12 th of July – 03rd of August 2019.

Accommodation: The accomodation will be at site, in tents (In case of really, really bad weather, there is a room nearby for shelter and sleeping). In the ending phase everything has to be cleaned and deconstructed. Be aware that the work will take place outdoor all the time, different weather conditions should not be a big problem for you (you should like to be outdoor most of the time).

In your free time you will have the opportunity to visit the area (Vienna is not far away from Gänserndorf) and other nearby locations of interest.

Food: We will cook together and live together with the organizers of the festival. Please inform us if you require a special diet. The food during the festival will be vegan & vegetarian (=veg(etari)an) organic meals.

Your accommodation and food are covered – however, we recommend you to bring some pocket money: The currency used in Austria is Euros. Furthermore, we invite you to bring typical food, spices, drinks, games or music from your country (for an intercultural evening) – and of course motivation to be part of a special green festival and a good team!

Showers and toilets are indoor (closed) so do not worry!

We will we working with the Alpenverein, taking care of the protective forest, by cleaning its area. We will also mark some hiking trails and we will take care of some paths. Moreover, we will do some maintenance work on the Hut. The work will start on Monday 6th of August. We will work five days a week, six hours with a lunch break of an hour, from 9:00-15:00.

Other activities: We will try to make activities in the local regions like e.g. hiking.

Stuhleck-Stiermark.
The international camp will take place in the “Karl Lechner Haus”, a beutiful hut in the Stuhleck Mountain, in the Uper Steiermark, Austria.

During the first two nights and the last two, we will be hosted in a youth center in Vienna. After it, we will travel to the mountains. We will be hosted in “Karl Lechner Haus” with lavatories and a kitchen. There is hot water, but not in the shower. The participants will sleep on beds (no female/male separation). Sleeping bags will be needed! In case the participants need to bring mats, we will timely inform them in the Info-sheet.
