Project : Nature lovers, join us in the rehabilitation of the Sente de la Folie!
Come take part in the renovation of part of the Sente de la Folie located in a charming municipality in the north of the department of Yvelines, 40km west of Paris. Surrounded by greenery and History, you will immerse yourself in a project that will not leave you indifferent, as much through the beauty of its landscapes, as through the spirit of the workcamp to which you will contribute.

Work : You will continue the rehabilitation of a localized path near the town of Evecquemont. This path is part of a route that borders the village and is very appreciated by walkers and kids on their way to school. You will participate in the maintenance and layout of the trail, in particular by the rehabilitation of an old wall. This area is presented in the form of terraces materialized by the remains of a stone wall located upstream of the trail, and another one downstream.
You will animate meetings with the inhabitants of the municipality around the culture and the environment and also will propose activities to share your experiences and your culture with them!

EVECQUEMONT
Meeting point : Vaux sur Seine train station

Closest airport : Paris

You will be housed in hard-wall, throughout the duration of the construction, in a municipal building located behind the Town Hall. Mattresses will be installed in a large room with access to the kitchen, toilet and shower. You will share the different collective tasks with the other volunteers, like the preparation of meals.

본 워크캠프에 참가하기 위해서는 본인의 건강을 입증할 수 있는 건강확인서가 필요합니다. 건강확인서는 근처 보건소 및 병원에서 간단한 검진을 통해 발급받을 수 있으며, 참가 합격 후 추가 안내가 이루어질 예정입니다.

Foreigners belonging to the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. If health issues happen on the project, volunteers will have to pay for it, and then be reimbursed once back in their home country.

Please bring gardening gloves, good shoes and working clothes. As the nights can be quite cold, remember also to bring warm clothes and a sleeping bag.

Leisure : Evecquemont (811 inhabitants) enjoys an exceptional situation overlooking the Seine Valley. Perched on the massif of Hautil and in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of French Vexin, the village was marked by the exploitation of stone quarries plaster until the middle of the twentieth century and the architecture of the medieval period. Its church dating from the twelfth century, was built from stones extracted from these quarries. Evecquemont is today a municipality rich in history. This municipality is located a few steps from the Hautil forest and from the island of the Seine, which have great potential in terms of landscapes, walks, hikes.
