A great project to socialize with local communities and children!

Project
The project will be organized in Tolcayuca in the state of Hidalgo. The main objective of the project is to unite the children with less means with the volunteers from different countries in order to create an intercultural atmosphere and a space for socialization.

Work
The volunteers are expected to organize classes for children. The classes can be about singing, drawing, sports, reading, learning languages and simply playing games.

The workcamp will be organized in Tolcayuca in the state of Hidalgo. Tolcayuca is located on the north of Mexico City. It takes around one hour by car.

The volunteers will be hosted in apartments with dormitories.

[현지 도착 안내]
공항에서 미팅포인트까지 이동하는 데에 다소 많은 시간이 소요됩니다. 따라서 캠프 시작일 기준 1~3일 이전에는 참가 국가의 수도로 미리 도착하시기 바랍니다. 미팅타임과 미팅포인트는 합격 후 인포싯(infosheet)을 통해 안내드립니다.

[스페인어 교실 참가 안내]
멕시코 현지 단체에서는 워크캠프 참가자들의 보다 원활한 활동을 위해 스페인어 교실(유료)을 운영하고 있습니다. 워크캠프 참가 직전 약 일주일 동안 진행되는 스페인어 수업에 참가를 희망하시는 분은 국제워크캠프기구 담당자 이메일로 신청하여 주시기 바랍니다.
For volunteers who are interested in learning Spanish, a Spanish course will be organized in the city of Morelia, Michoacán before the start of each project. Total Cost: 110 Euros. It includes accommodation for 7 days at a Youth Hostel in Morelia city, Spanish classes with an experienced teacher for 15 hours, required materials to study and activities to practice Spanish. Only meals are not included.

Skills and Certifications
By participating in this project, you will acquire the global skills of Adaptability, Global Awareness, Strategic Thinking and Collaborative Planning, after the participation in the project volunteers will receive an official letter certifying these skills.

Leisure time
Tolcayuca which is located between Mexico City and the capital of Hidalgo, Pachuca. The volunteers can travel to Mexico City or other parts of the state of Hidalgo on their spare time. There are several archeological sites in the area to visit. Tula de Allende is an archeological site located in Hidalgo also there Tolantongo is famous with its thermal water resources.
