- IWO 회원으로 1회 이상의 국제워크캠프참가 경험 회원
- 영어 의사소통 가능회원 / 중급 이상 이탈리아어 가능 회원
- 신체적 일과 활동에 잘 적응하여 일할 수 있는 회원
- 자신의 주변 환경과 떨어진 낯선 환경에 잘 적응하는 회원
- 자원봉사에 대한 마인드를 가진 회원
- 사교적이고 원만한 대인관계를 가진 회원
- 적극적이고 능동적인 사고 방식을 가진 회원

LEGAMBIENTE (League for the environment) is the most widespread environmentalist
association in Italy. It is formed by 1.500 local clubs, 20 regional committees, over
115.000 among members and supporters.
It carries out information and awareness campaigns and organises actions of
environmental voluntary work involving thousands people. Legambiente promotes
solidarity and co-operation for development and it is active in emergency and first
aid activities. The association is committed with thousands among school kids and
teachers to diffuse environmental education in the school and in society.
Legambiente promotes long term voluntary service in Italy and abroad. In Italy there
are several permanent voluntary centres hosting all the year long all-aged volunteers,
some of them included in the European Voluntary Service programme.
CONDITIONS for all projects: food and accommodation is provided by the hosting
community. Sleeping bag necessary. No pocket-money is given to volunteers.
Applications must speak good "conversation" Italian
MILAZZO (Messina, Sicily)
Milazzo is a large village on the northern-eastern coast of Sicily, in a beautiful
landscape. The local group of Legambiente is working since years for the
implementation and discovery of ancient excursion paths and environmental
protection activities. In addition to other solidarity initiatives, during summer time, the
groups uses to host children and young people from Chernobyl area, for short holiday
periods.
Projects:
LEG-LTV-02 - Milazzo, 1st July - 31st August (2 months). 2 volunteers, only female.
Lodging: first months together with the children in a nuns' centre, second months in a
school.
Tasks: the first month volunteers will help in the running of the summer scheme for
Chernobyl's children (playschemes, excursions, educational activities). During the
second month, environment protection, help and support to 2 international
workcamps.
CAMPSIRAGO (Lecco, Milan region)
Campsirago is a fascinating ancient village in a wonderful nature, which has been
abandoned for year and now is again peopled by some families and Legambiente has
one of its education environment centre.
LEG-LTV-03 - Campsirago, 15th May - 31st July 2003 (2 months and half). 3
volunteers, boys and girls.
Lodging: in the Legambiente centre. Tasks: help and support for the educational
activities with children and to international workcamps.
