포르투갈, 설렘과 기대로 시작된 봉사 새로운 친구들과

평소에 해외 봉사에 굉장히 관심이 많았는데, 학교에서 국제 워크캠프라는 좋은 기회가 주어져서 참가하기로 했습니다. 참가 전에는 설렘 반 걱정 반이였습니다. 포르투갈에 처음 가보는 것이였기 때문에 모든게 낯설 것 같았습니다. 하지만 포르투갈에 대해 여러 정보를 검색해 보면서 걱정이 모두 기대로 바뀌었습니다. 워크캠프에서 새로운 사람들을 많이 만나 고 싶었는데 기대만큼 여러 나라의 사람들을 만날 수 있어서 굉장히 기뻤습니다. I had high expectations for this trip and was readying myself for a new experience.

I had an exciting time with new friends. There were many people from all around the world and it allowed me to learn about new cultures about different countries. I believe people from different countries were very different and therefore had a hard time adjusting to differing personalities. I look forward to going again soon.

I learned how to adjust and adapt to new environments. Differing personalities meant that I needed to keep my calm and overcome certain obstacles in oredr to fit in with other people. There were many people who did not have the same values, but we were able to work out our differences amongst different people.
