내 삶의 가치를 찾아서, 워크캠프

I was always interested in doing volunteer work,however with many excuses I did not even try once in my life until my friend introduced me this organization. Actually I had some fears in my mind about trying and having a new environment and experiences I never had. However, I always wanted to get to know the new community, and feel how others live outside my world, not just seeing it. Additionally, I thought it would be more valuable if I can be a help to people who needs my hands. For those reasons, Work Camp was attractive to me, therefore, I signed up for Work Camp.

The camp was great and I will never forget the time that I had there for the rest of my life. Even we(Volunteers, camp leader, and teachers from school) all come from different countries, we made great friends. Normally people who comes for volunteering work, they have open mind; thus we all try to understand "Differences" that others have, so we didn't have many difficulties among us.
Our camp was based in school, so we always spent time with students and teachers. Teachers and director of school tried to offer us the best for everything, and students were always showed us respects. I was so grateful to stay there.
Food was provided, so it was good chance to experience real Thai local food!

"This is what you want to do, at least once in a life time!"
In the beginning, I was thinking that I'm the one who is going to teach things to students, however it turns out I'm the one who learned a lot. People I met through the camp were great, and the love they showed me was amazing. This is definitely what you want to do at least once in your life! I wish I will have more chances to attend work camp again.
